Welcome to the Gwent District Association or DA, by comparison to other DA’s within the Cambrian and Wyvern Region of the Camping and Caravanning Club, Gwent DA is quite small. The DA, which was formed in 1978, nestles just inside the Welsh border and has some of the most beautiful countryside in the whole of Wales.
Focusing on the introduction of longer meets in 2015, we have again produced a sites list for 2021 which includes new sites, four night meets, several with EHU availability and five temporary holiday sites in places of natural beauty and close to places of interest. We would like to thank Club members for your continued support which enables us to offer longer meets.
We are asking for our meets to be booked in advance in line with Club advice, deposits and pre-payment allowes for swifter check-in. We have invested in contactless facilities, which will be available at most sites, subject to Wi-Fi.
Come and join us at one of our meets, whether a long weekend rally or just for a weekend or at one of our Holiday meets (THS), you are assured of a warm welcome. We look forward to welcoming new and old friends again.

The Wye Valley has some wonderful walks, Offa’s Dyke is on our doorstep, there are mountains to climb around Abergavenny plus numerous water activities on the River Wye from sailing, canoeing to river cruising. The Brecon Beacons national park also spills over into our area. We are also dipping our toe into Carmarthenshire, Powys and Devon during 2021.
